DIRTY CRUSTY

Written By Clare Barron

"We must be the women of the future, standing here in this bathroom"

This anti romance play, explores the relationship between hygiene and dance. We meet Jeanine, a 31 year old woman, trying to learn ballet for the first time by ballet teacher Sydna. The relationship between herself and her partner Victor dances between the two worlds. When collaborating with Ilona Sell, we created a liminal space that allows movement and large amounts of choreography on stage.
